Bud Fraze, owner of Cochise Shooters, LLC. Bud is an Arizona State Authorized CCW instructor. He is an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, NRA Certified Instructor for Home Firearm Safety, Protection in the Home and an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. He is a Range Safety Officer for the Sierra Vista Range and is State Deputy Firearms Director for the Arizona Rangers. He also coordinates a Defensive Pistol Workshop for the Cochise Shooters. Bud is an IDPA competitor and is the Match Director for the Cochise Shooter's Defensive Pistol Match which takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

Cochise Shooters was organized to provide a defensive pistol match, CCW classes and workshops in defensive pistol shooting. The pistol match and workshop are held once a month. The classes are taught by qualified NRA certified instructors, some with law enforcement and military backgrounds. These instructors are personable and dedicated individuals who pride themselves in transferring firearms skills to the public.

State of Arizona Concealed Carry Weapons Course (CCW) Sign up and more info... Good reasons for getting a CCW permit: 1. Knowledge of the laws regarding firearms 2. Reciprocity between states 3. No background check for firearm purchase 4. Pistol workshop which will provide practical skills	Cochise Shooters offers the Arizona CCW 8 hour class covering Arizona firearms laws, legal issues related to deadly force, contact with law enforcement, range safety, safe handling and storage of firearms, mental conditioning for use of deadly force, judgmental shooting, firearm manipulation, marksmanship, written test and qualification. Upon successful completion of class individual will be eligible to obtain a CCW permit. We also offer a free practical pistol workshop for those who participate in the CCW class. Defensive Pistol Workshop 4th Saturday of every month More info... Classes & Instructors	During each workshop an instructor will present one or more aspects of competition pistol shooting. Ask questions and get answers from someone who's shooting competitively. Discussion: approximately 30-40 minutes in length. Practical shooting 2-3 hrs. This is a great way for beginners to learn how to shoot a defensive pistol match or for more experienced shooters to practice their skills. The instructors are personable and knowledgeable and dedicated to encouraging the sport! These workshops are a lot of fun! Sign up is at 8:30 a.m. Workshop starts at 9:00 a.m. Cost: $10.00.
Defensive Pistol Match 1st Saturday of every month More info... Scores Qualifier Frequently Asked Questions	The Defensive Pistol Match is open to the public and is sponsored by the Cochise Gun Club in Sierra Vista, Arizona. Beginners and ladies are welcome. This is staged the first Saturday of each month at the Sierra Vista Range. Sign up is at 8:30 a.m. First stage starts at 9:00 a.m. Cost: $8.00.
